Christ Is Your Life
Christ is our life (Col 3:4). This is the declaration made by every person who has turned from their sin to follow Jesus as Savior and Lord. As such, Christians set their mind on things above (v1-4). We put away the old life, killing the flesh (v5-9), and we put on the new life, surrounding ourselves with attitudes and actions that make us like Christ (v10-17). The result is that in our various spheres of life—marriage (v18-19), parenting (v20-21), and work (v22-4:1)—Christ is put on display as we seek to do all things for His glory and not our own.

Dear FBC Family,
It’s time for a FAMILY MEETING! You know how helpful and often necessary it is to occasionally gather the family around the dinner table and discuss how life is going and what is to come, as well as reflect and rejoice over all that the Lord has recently done. It is a time used to refocus hearts and encourage one another as the family presses on through the busyness of life. Well, it is time for our church family to do the same!
THIS SUNDAY, will be a special message, a unique time for us as a church that must not be missed – we will walk through God’s Word, focus on some of our distinctives, and teach on LIVING EVERY DAY FOR CHRIST. This time in the Word will be a combination of a church report, a teaching-pastor update, encouragement to look for opportunities, a challenge to do things God’s way, and an update on where we’re going. You might even hear the strongest possible date for the property we have had yet – we officially know the zone it will happen!!!
